Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for any edible or perishable items, such as cakes, cupcakes, truffles, or custom cake orders. These items are considered final sale and no refunds will be issued.

Our “add-ons shop” offers a variety of custom-made and personalized items that are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Please be sure of your choice before placing an order. If you made a mistake and require a change to the customization of the product please be sure to send us an email to order@abarcascakes.com before 8am on the next business day after your order. So that we can accommodate your change. Once production starts we are unable to make any changes or offer a refund.

Cancellations/Termination of Contract

Unfortunately we do not accept any cancellations for orders placed on our website or via booking/contract. All of our items, whether they are perishable or non-perishable, are custom-made upon receiving your payment. Therefore, we cannot cancel your order once it is in production. The only exception is for non-perishable items from our “add-ons shop”, which can be canceled by sending an email to order@abarcascakes.com before 8am on the next business day after your order. 

When you order a Custom/Corporate Cakes from us, you need to sign a contract and agree to our Terms & Conditions, along with  our Custom Cakes Terms which we will provide to you at the time of booking. This contract will go more into details about our Terms for Custom Cakes work.

Cancellation policy for Custom/Corporate Cakes:

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. The remainder of the payment is due 2 weeks prior to your event. Should you order last minute, a full non-refundable payment will be required to book your order.  
• Custom Cakes are custom & perishable. Therefore they can not be resold. All of our custom work gets started immediately after the contract is signed. Orders start being placed for materials, and artistic work and designs begin production. None of these perishable items are resalable and therefore can not be canceled or returned.
• We understand that life happens. In the event that there is an unforeseen accident, or an event outside of your control (acts of God) we will work with you to reschedule your cake for a future day subject to our availability. Unfortunately we will not be able to return your deposit. 
• If cancellation is attempted within 2 weeks of your event after a full payment has been made. We are unable to cancel your order or offer a refund.
