General Delivery Fees

These are our starting delivery fees for all of our products. Delivery charges are calculated based on distance from our location in Woodstock, GA. Shop orders that are purchased online are hand delivered (not shipped) either to you or your recipient. See below for details. Please see below for general information on 3D Cakes deliveries. 

Gourmet Cakes  Delivery Charges:

$5: Cherokee County

$10: Pickens, North Fulton, Cobb

$15: Bartow

$20:  North Atlanta

NOTE: If you live further than this or are experiencing checkout issues due to your address not being in our delivery zone, please inquire before ordering online from our Shop to be sure we are able to service your area. 

3D Cakes & Corporate Cakes Delivery Starting Charges:

$5: Cherokee County

$10: Pickens, North Fulton, Cobb

$20:  North Atlanta

The delivery fees above are starting prices for delivery of 3D Cakes & Corporate Cakes.  However 3D Cakes & Corporate Cake orders can be delivered to other locations not stated above. Additional fees may occur depending on location and size/complexity of delivery. This will be discussed during your quote and contract time.  Please see the “Additional Fees” section below for more information.

Additional Fees

Some orders may incur extra fees if they are too large for our courier service, need more staff due to size or event delivery location, and if the area is outside our delivery zones listed above (further away). We will consult you on this matter and seek your consent when applicable. 

 

IMPORTANT: If your order contains Limited Edition Holiday products (ie Valentine’s, Easter etc), your entire order will be delivered under the holiday delivery dates. You are welcome to place a new order of our REGULAR Shop items to be delivered sooner if you prefer. But the dates can not be split up in the same order. Please see below for an explanation of each.

 

Regular (non-holiday)  Orders

You can select the date of delivery and time for online Shop orders that are not a limited edition Holiday Collection (ie Valentine’s day etc), as well as for Corporate & 3D Custom Cakes orders which you will list in your quote form  at the bottom of the page.

 

For regular Shop online orders, we do not deliver on Sundays. Custom delivery times for Shop orders non-holiday have a standard delivery window time (Eastern Standard Time). Please be sure you select your time from one of our delivery windows and ensure someone over the age of 18 is available to receive and sign for your delivery during that time. We will text you when we are on our way.

 

Mondays: deliveries 9 am – 5 pm 

Tuesday: deliveries 9am – 5pm

Wednesdays: deliveries 9am – 5pm

Thursdays: deliveries 9am – 5pm

Fridays: deliveries 9am – 5pm

Saturdays: deliveries 9am- 3pm

Sundays: closed- deliveries only 7am-8am or 2pm-5pm

Responsibility

Our responsibility for your order ends when our delivery driver hands your order to you, or when you pickup your order from us. From that point on, you are solely responsible for the safety and quality of your order. We will not accept any complaints or requests for refunds if your order is damaged, lost, or spoils after the delivery/pick up. Please make sure you follow the instructions on how to store, transport and serve your cakes properly.

To ensure a smooth delivery of your order, please make sure someone is present at your address during the scheduled time slot. Also, please provide us with the necessary contact details for our driver to reach you. If you miss the delivery for any reason, we will return your order to the bakery and keep it for 24 hours. You can email us at order@abarcascakes.com to arrange another delivery time (subject to our availability) for extra charges but please note that the charges will be 3x the original delivery fee.

If you fail to respond or contact us within the given time frame regarding the delivery, we will terminate the contract and deny any requests for refunds or replacements. 

If you choose to leave your items at the door we are not responsible for anything that happens to your items after delivery to your doorstep.

Delivery Change Notice

We appreciate your cooperation in letting us know at least 24 hrs before your delivery day if you will not be present to receive your order at the agreed time and date. We offer the option of delivering your items to a different address within one mile of your original location, where someone can sign for it. A trustworthy neighbor is a good option! Please be advised however, that we are not responsible for your order once we hand it over to them. Please also note that if you need to change your address last minute to a faraway location, extra deliveries fees may apply depending on the location.

 

Delivery Disclaimer

To ensure the quality and satisfaction of our products, we will kindly ask you to sign a delivery disclaimer when you receive your order. This is required and is not an option. This document confirms that you have inspected the item and received it in good condition. Please be sure that whoever is receiving the item is aware that they will need to sign this disclaimer. If we don’t get a signature, we will not leave the item nor hand the item over.
